Come Work for Pogoplug!

The country may be going through a rough patch, but not everyone out there is downsizing.  We’re hiring!  We need two more geniuses (preferably from San Francisco, or close by) to join our team of creative innovators (and lovers of herbal tea).

Award-winning Pogoplug is looking for two highly skilled programmers to join our development team.  The role entails technical and functional ownership of design, implementation, and testing. This is a hands-on development position for someone with unique ideas and programming experience.

Must have:
- C/C++ experience
- Source Code Version Control Systems familiarity (one of CVS, GIT, perforce, or similar)
- Cross platform or multi platform development experience
- Strong familiarity with debugging techniques including postmortem
debugging.

Nice to have:
- Working knowledge of TCP/IP and HTTP
- Linux experience
- C#
- Objective-C
- Javascript
- Flash/ActionScript

    I had been developing applications in Java/C++ for ERP . At present, I am involved in Objective-C applications of iPhone and Java for blackberry. I am a good fan of mac/linux. I had been using ubuntu and OSX. I had been using subversion, VSS for source control. Trying to learn GIT now.

    I stepped into your hiring page as I was making an order for pogoplug. WOW, it would ne NICE to work for Pogoplug in SF. I am close to SF.
